How to Find the Cheapest Toyota
Toyota has long been known as the cheapest car brand, and it is not hard to see why. The brand is widely recognized for its low cost of ownership, but some of its luxury models may be more expensive than their more affordable counterparts. Plus, the sticker price might not reflect the true cost of ownership – some models have higher insurance rates, and depreciation can take a toll on the car’s value. So how do you find the cheapest car? Here are some tips:
Elantra sedan
The Hyundai Elantra is one of the smallest cars on the market, and yet it still manages to be one of the best-looking cars on the road. The sedan features a low starting price of just $33,195. It also has two standout engines: the base model has a two-liter engine making 147 horsepower, and the hybrid version uses a 1.3-kWh battery pack and an electric motor. The N Line model adds a turbocharged hybrid engine to the list of available options. This engine combines with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to produce a powerful and purposeful exhaust note. The N Line adds upgraded brakes and a tauter suspension to the list of features, which enhances ride quality.
Trailblazer subcompact SUV
If you’re on a budget, a Chevy Trailblazer subcompact SUV might be the perfect choice. The cheapest model of the SUV lineup comes with a low starting price, a surprisingly spacious cabin, and decent safety and tech features. But its price tag isn’t its only advantage, and its L trim will soon be replaced by the new Trailblazer. In addition to its low starting price, the Trailblazer has good fuel economy and a simple-to-use infotainment system. Its price isn’t the only draw, as its sister Chevrolet subcompact SUV, the Seltos, also doesn’t fare as well.
Spark subcompact hatchback
The 2022 Chevrolet Spark will stop being produced this summer, and GM will no longer be selling the car. This car was the cheapest new car sold in 2021, and was the only one with a starting price below $15,000. The average price of a new car in 2021 was $45,283, so this discontinuation isn’t exactly surprising. But a discontinuation like this suggests that customers no longer want to buy budget cars. Considering that Sparks sold more than luxury models, there may be a demand for cheap cars that will eventually replace the Spark.
Kia Rio
If you’re looking for a cheap car that still offers good value and fuel efficiency, consider the new Kia Rio. It’s the latest model from the South Korean automaker and it’s available in both sedan and hatchback body styles. The base model comes with a 4-cylinder engine, while higher trims add more standard features. While its low price makes it appealing to a wide variety of people, the Kia Rio is definitely not for everyone.
Mitsubishi Mirage hatchback
The Mitsubishi Mirage is the smallest car in the Mitsubishi lineup and is priced just below its rivals. Its compact size and tight turning circle make it ideal for city driving, but its lack of power and refinement make it less enjoyable to drive. Nonetheless, it offers great value for money and is one of the cheapest cars to buy in the United States. While it is affordable, there are many other subcompact cars that offer more thrills for the money.
Chevrolet Spark
The Chevrolet Spark has become one of the country’s cheapest cars. This small hatchback, which goes on sale in the fall of 2020, is priced as low as $14,395 and will remain the cheapest car on the market for the next three years. The car has outsold the Mitsubishi Mirage and Toyota Yaris, which are no longer produced. But it’s hard to say how long the Chevrolet Spark will continue to be available, since its production will end later this year.
